The Distance Education Mission of Alabama Southern Community College is to provide distance education courses as needed to meet the continuous and changing educational needs of the residents of Southwest Alabama, regardless of location or time constraints. • Web Enhanced courses are traditional courses with a web component that provides additional resources to address the multiple learning styles of students.

• Web courses consist of Internet based instruction. All assignments are completed through the course website.

• Distance Learning/Videoconferencing courses utilized a two way audio video connection that allows students and instructors to meet in class on multiple campuses.
