Cake Decorating - Learn to prepare your cake, ice your cake, make butter cream icing and work with fondant. You will learn the basics of cake decorating such as writing, borders, stars, drop flowers, figure piping, bows, the Rose and much more. A supply list will be provided at registration.

Basic Computer Applications -
This class is designed for the basic computer user and those with limited understanding of computer fundamentals. Learn how to use e-mail, surf the internet and other functions.
9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday mornings, Oct 23 – Nov 13, (4 sessions) – Thomasville, Tuition $25

Photography for Beginners - Bring your camera and learn how to make the most beautiful pictures of individuals and outside settings.
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday nights, Oct 19 – Nov 16, (5 sessions) – Thomasville, Tuition $45 

Embroidery - Learn the art of decorating fabric or other materials with needle and thread. A supply list will be provided at registration.
9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday morning Oct 23, (1 session) – Thomasville, Tuition $15 

American Sign Language for Beginners - Basic introduction to American Sign Language (ASL). This class will focus on ASL vocabulary and conversational phrases. It is designed to enhance communication with Deaf individuals.

GILBERTOWN

What the Bible is all about – This course of study will present the overall purpose of God in creation, history, and prophecy. The Bible, though consisting of 66 books, tells one grand story. Through this narrative, the nature and purposes of God are clearly revealed.

Local Couponing - Learn how to use coupons, websites, and Face Book pages that are helpful in saving money.

Wood Distressing - Learn how to make chevron patterns, transfer words to wood, and picture frames from barn wood. Also, learn the process of painting and distressing to make a finished product. Materials included.

History of Choctaw County - These sessions will inform and hopefully educate participates about the general history of Choctaw County, Alabama. From the Indians, to early settlements, towns and railroads, learn about the evolution of the people and places that make Choctaw County what it is today.

Pop Pet Art Portraits - Student will bring in a photo of their animal to be used to create a painting in the style of “pop” art. Class includes materials and supplies. Photo may be emailed to sbrown@ascc.edu or delivered at the time of registration. Photos must be received by November 12.

Advance enrollment is required to determine if the class will be offered. Classes are open for current students and non-students. ASCC reserves the right to cancel any course.
