Alabama Southern has built a national reputation for excellence and innovation in education. Our state-of-the-art campuses help our students succeed in the classroom and in the workplace. Alabama Southern opened a new center in Demopolis in Fall 2004 in conjunction with the Demopolis City Council and with our university partners including the University of West Alabama and the University of Alabama. A new 15,000-square-foot facility was constructed in the 300-acre Demopolis Sports-Plex. The facility includes two computer labs, a science lab, six multimedia classrooms, a combined library and student center, a conference room and distance learning teleconference center. These cutting edge facilities reflect the dynamic spirit of the great Demopolis area.
