Turner Lee, former Eagle, signs with Toronto Blue Jays

David Ogilvie tossed eight scoreless innings to lift the ASCC Eagles to a 7-1 win over Bishop State Community College at Monroeville, AL.

The offense exploded for the ASCC Eagles in the first. Bishop State Community College had no answer as the ASCC Eagles scored five runs. The ASCC Eagles scored in the first on a fielder's choice, an RBI triple by Jean Figueroa, a sacrifice fly by Brandon Harigel, an RBI double by Kaleb Harris, and an RBI double by Hunter Ellenburg.

The ASCC Eagles were sparked by Brandon and Jean, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.

After posting one run in the third, the ASCC Eagles again scored one in the fifth. In the third, the ASCC Eagles scored on an RBI single by Brandon, bringing home Jean.

5/3 Bishop State Community College outdone by Rakeem Quinn and the ASCC Eagles, 6-1

Rakeem Quinn went 2-4, sparking the ASCC Eagles to a 6-1 victory over Bishop State Community College on Saturday at Monroeville, AL.

He singled in the second and sixth innings.

Aaron Hart handled Bishop State Community College's lineup with ease, racking up four strikeouts. Aaron allowed no earned runs on four hits and two walks over five innings.

The ASCC Eagles didn't relinquish the lead after scoring three runs in the second inning when they scored on a two-run error and an RBI single by Ryan Calloway.

It didn't take long for the ASCC Eagles to answer as they scored one run of their own in the fourth. The ASCC Eagles scored on an RBI single by Ryan Calloway.

5/3 The ASCC Eagles make the most of 6 hits in 4-3 victory over Bishop State Community College

Both the ASCC Eagles and Bishop State Community College put runners aboard on Saturday, but it was the ASCC Eagles that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-3 win at Monroeville, AL.

Bishop State Community College had eight hits compared with the ASCC Eagles' six, but Bishop State Community College stranded eight runners on base.

Tritt Fennell paced the ASCC Eagles at the plate. Tritt went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

In the top of the first, Bishop State Community College grabbed the early lead, 1-0. A single by Cody Campo, plating Alex Oliver started the inning off.

The ASCC Eagles didn't provide Aaron Hart with much support, but he didn't need much. Hart pitched seven strong innings to carry the ASCC Eagles to a 2-1 win over Faulkner State Community College in seven innings on Saturday at Monroeville, AL.

The ASCC Eagles would not relinquish the lead as Faulkner State Community College was unable to weather a two-run third inning deficit.

Faulkner State Community College scored one run in the sixth on an RBI single by Caleb Lopes. Still, Faulkner State Community College couldn't draw even.

The game was never in doubt after the first, as the ASCC Eagles scored one run on an RBI single by Kyle Reese.

April 17 - Error proves costly as Jefferson Davis Community College falls to the ASCC Eagles, 5-2

Four first-inning runs helped the ASCC Eagles to a 5-2 win over Jefferson Davis Community College at Brewton, AL on Thursday.

Brandon Harigel had a hot bat for the ASCC Eagles. Brandon went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.

The ASCC Eagles relied on Ryan Cribb to eat up innings en route to the win. Ryan Cribb allowed two earned runs, six hits and two walks while striking out one over eight innings of work.

Jefferson Davis Community College scored one run in the bottom of the sixth to cut its deficit to four. A sacrifice fly by Alex Jones fueled Jefferson Davis Community College's comeback. But, Ryan Cribb got Dake Rivers to ground out to end the inning.

One run in the bottom of the eighth helped Jefferson Davis Community College close its deficit to 5-2. A sacrifice fly by Craig Headley gave Jefferson Davis Community College life. Ryan Cribb ended the inning by getting Alex to ground out.

April 23 The ASCC Eagles come from behind to beat Jefferson Davis Community College, 5-3

With the ASCC Eagles trailing by one, Trevor Flynn came to the plate and homered, bringing home Jordan Anderson and Andrew Ferrell.

Trevor racked up four RBIs on two hits for the ASCC Eagles.

Jefferson Davis Community College couldn't get anything going so long as Mitchell Morris was on the hill. Jefferson Davis Community College managed just one hit off of the the ASCC Eagles' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out one during his 4 1/3 innings of work.

Jefferson Davis Community College jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the second. Jefferson Davis Community College got things going when Dake Rivers singled. Brandon Davis doubled, bringing home Alex Jones. More runs came home for Jefferson Davis Community College when Davis scored on an RBI single by Michael Fox and Fox scored on an RBI single by Jonathan Moore.

April 23 The ASCC Eagles drop 11-4 game to Jefferson Davis Community College

The ASCC Eagles lost 11-4 to Jefferson Davis Community College Wednesday at Brewton, AL despite Jordan Anderson's three-hit day at the dish.

Jordan got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

Jefferson Davis Community College was sparked by Logan Hill and Alex Jones, who teamed up for four hits and eight RBIs.

Jefferson Davis Community College never surrendered the lead after the third inning, scoring three runs on an RBI double by Logan and a two-run single by Alex.

After pushing across two runs in the top of the fourth, the ASCC Eagles faced just a 3-2 deficit. An RBI double by Brandon Harigel and an RBI single by Jordan set off the ASCC Eagles rally. Finally, Nick Helton got Tritt Fennell to fly out to end the threat.

Jefferson Davis Community College answered the ASCC Eagles' top inning with five runs of its own in the fourth. Jefferson Davis Community College scored on an RBI single by Jonathan Moore, a hit by pitch, a two-run single by Craig Headley, and an RBI single by Alex.

After pushing across two runs in the top of the fifth, the ASCC Eagles faced just a 8-4 deficit. An RBI single by Andrew Ferrell and a groundout by Jean Figueroa triggered the ASCC Eagles' comeback. The ASCC Eagles threat came to an end when Trey Marshall finally got Trevor Flynn to fly out.

Trevor Flynn went 2-3, helping the ASCC Eagles to a 6-5 victory over L.B. Wallace Community College on Friday at Monroeville, AL.

He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Ryan Cribb got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over 5 1/3 innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

The ASCC Eagles jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first. The ASCC Eagles attack began with a double from Tevin Watters. A single by Hunter Ellenburg then moved Tevin from second to third. The ASCC Eagles then tacked on more runs when Ellenburg scored on an RBI double by Trevor and Flynn scored on an RBI single by Jordan Anderson.

The ASCC Eagles didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the fifth inning when they scored on a two-run single by Brandon Harigel.

One L.B. Wallace Community College run crossed the plate in the top half of the ninth, making the score 6-5. An RBI single by Mason Rodgers triggered L.B. Wallace Community College's comeback. The ASCC Eagles' Hayden Roberts induced a Brandon Mayhann ground out to close things out.

The ASCC Eagles jumped on L.B. Wallace Community College early on their way to an 8-5 win on Saturday at Monroeville, AL, scoring three runs in the first inning.

The ASCC Eagles scored in the first on an RBI single by Kyle Reese, an RBI single by Kaleb Harris, and a walk by Hunter Ellenburg.

Tevin Watters was solid at the plate for the ASCC Eagles. Tevin went 4-5 and scored three runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first, fourth, and eighth innings.

Aaron Hart recorded the win for the ASCC Eagles. He allowed four runs over six innings. Aaron struck out two, walked two and gave up five hits.

Two runs in the top of the third helped L.B. Wallace Community College close its deficit to 4-2. An RBI triple by Roquel Marsh and a groundout by Brandon Pugh set off L.B. Wallace Community College rally. The L.B. Wallace Community College threat came to an end when Aaron finally got Conner Smith to fly out.

It didn't take long for the ASCC Eagles to answer as they scored two runs of their own in the fourth. The ASCC Eagles scored on an RBI single by Andrew Ferrell and an error.

After pushing across one run in the top of the fifth, L.B. Wallace Community College faced just a 6-4 deficit. A wild pitch gave L.B. Wallace Community College life. Finally, Aaron induced an inning-ending ground out from Conner.

The ASCC Eagles added two more runs in the bottom of the seventh. The inning got off to a hot start when Brandon Harigel doubled, scoring Kyle. That was followed up by Kaleb's single, bringing home Brandon.

After a quick strike from L.B. Wallace Community College, the ASCC Eagles responded with four runs in the fifth. The ASCC Eagles scored on an RBI single by Jean, an RBI double by Brandon Harigel, and a sacrifice fly by Hunter Ellenburg.

Big hitting performance carries the ASCC Eagles past Mississippi Gulf Coast 9-4

An awesome effort by Jean Figueroa carried the ASCC Eagles to a 9-4 win in seven innings over Mississippi Gulf Coast on Friday at Perkinston, MS.

Jean rocked Mississippi Gulf Coast with two home runs. Jean went 2-2 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Jean homered in the second and fifth innings.

The ASCC Eagles hit three home runs in the win. Home runs for the ASCC Eagles came when Jordan Anderson homered in the third inning and Jean homered in the second and fifth innings.

Hayden Roberts got the win for the ASCC Eagles. He allowed four runs over 4 1/3 innings. Hayden struck out three, walked one and gave up four hits.

The game was never in doubt after the second, as the ASCC Eagles scored one run on a solo home run by Jean.

One run in the bottom of the fourth helped Mississippi Gulf Coast close its deficit to 2-1. A groundout by TQ triggered Mississippi Gulf Coast's comeback. Finally, Hayden induced an inning-ending ground out from RL.

The ASCC Eagles added five more runs in the top of the fifth. Jean hit a grand slam, plating Tevin Waters, Andrew Ferrell and Kyle Reese to start the inning.

After pushing across three runs in the bottom of the fifth, Mississippi Gulf Coast faced just a 7-4 deficit. An error, a walk by HB, and a sacrifice fly by RC set off Mississippi Gulf Coast rally. The ASCC Eagles stopped the rally after Joseph Alday got DF to ground out.

The ASCC Eagles built upon their lead with two runs in the seventh. Jordan 's single got things going, bringing home Brandon Harigel. That was followed up by Andrew 's single, plating Tritt Fennell.

Bishop State Community College outdone by Hunter Ellenburg and the ASCC Eagles, 8-4

The ASCC Eagles beat Bishop State Community College 8-4 in seven innings on Tuesday at Daphne, AL behind Hunter Ellenburg, who went 3-3 at the plate.

He singled in the second, third, and seventh innings. 

Dylan Kiene put together a nice outing. Bishop State Community College managed just three hits off of the the ASCC Eagles' pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked three and struck out four during his six innings of work.

The game was never in doubt after the first, as the ASCC Eagles scored two runs on two singles.

After posting two runs in the second, the ASCC Eagles again scored two in the seventh. In the second, the ASCC Eagles scored on a sacrifice fly by Ryan Calloway, scoring Hunter.

The ASCC Eagles brought home one run in the third inning, and matched that run total in the fourth. In the third, the ASCC Eagles scored on an RBI double by Brandon Harigel, bringing home Trevor Flynn.

After pushing across three runs in the bottom of the sixth, Bishop State Community College faced just a 6-3 deficit. An RBI single by Kevin Barnett and a fielder's choice sparked Bishop State Community College's rally. The ASCC Eagles stopped the rally after Dylan got Alex Inge to ground out.

One run in the bottom of the seventh helped Bishop State Community College close its deficit to 8-4. An RBI single by Jonathan Brown gave Bishop State Community College life. Joseph Alday ended the game by getting Dalton Yucestoy to fly out.

The ASCC Eagles led by seven runs in the sixth inning, but Huntington College JV put together a furious comeback to steal the victory, 8-7, on Sunday at Montgomery, AL.

Ryan Calloway went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the ASCC Eagles. He singled in the first and second innings and doubled in the fourth inning.

Huntington College JV was sparked by Patrick Kucera and Robert Walker, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.

The ASCC Eagles jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first. After Ryan Calloway singled, Jean Figueroa doubled, plating Andrew Ferrell and Ryan Calloway. The ASCC Eagles pushed more runs across when Figueroa scored on a sacrifice fly by Trevor Flynn and Harigel scored on a groundout by Seth Thomason.

Andrew Ferrell did all he could to give the ASCC Eagles a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Faulkner State Community College, as the ASCC Eagles lost 7-2 at Bay Minette, AL on Sunday.

Andrew went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the ASCC Eagles. He singled in the third, fifth, and ninth innings.

Faulkner State Community College stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring seven runs on a two-run double by Marshall Rolin, a two-run error, a sacrifice fly by Christain Snow, and two singles.

A tight game was decided in the sixth inning as the ASCC Eagles fell to Enterprise State Community College 2-1 in seven innings on Saturday at Enterprise, AL.

David Ogilvie handled Enterprise State Community College's lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. David allowed no earned runs on four hits and three walks over 4 2/3 innings.

The ASCC Eagles scored their only run of the game on an error in the fifth inning.

It didn't take long for Enterprise State Community College to answer as it scored one run of its own in the fifth. Enterprise State Community College scored on an RBI single by Dalton Pritchett.

Enterprise State Community College never trailed after scoring one run in the sixth on an RBI single by Jeremy Melton.

Lake Genard got the win for Enterprise State Community College. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Dylan Kiene was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked none and struck out five.

The top of the second saw Enterprise State Community College take an early lead, 1-0. Preston Brown started the rally for Enterprise State Community College with a single. A single by Chad Peters then moved Preston from first to second.

Enterprise State Community College stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring two runs on a sacrifice fly by Chad and an RBI single by TJ Register.

Enterprise State Community College added three more runs in the top of the fifth. Dalton Pritchett doubled, scoring Brandon Carpenter to start the inning.

After pushing across one run in the bottom of the sixth, the ASCC Eagles faced just a 7-2 deficit. An RBI single by Trevor Flynn triggered the ASCC Eagles' comeback. Enterprise State Community College stopped the rally after Lake got Brandon Harigel to.

Two runs in the bottom of the seventh helped the ASCC Eagles close their deficit to 7-4. A two-run error sparked the ASCC Eagles' rally. The ASCC Eagles' Hunter Ellenburg struck out to end the ballgame.

Jean Figueroa collected three hits, sparking the ASCC Eagles to a 7-2 victory in seven innings over Faulkner State Community College on Sunday at Bay Minette, AL.

He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.

Hayden Roberts looked sharp on the rubber. Roberts gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out five during his seven innings of work.

The ASCC Eagles went up for good in the fourth, scoring five runs on an RBI double by Kaleb Harris and two singles.

Marion Military Institute and the ASCC Eagles played to an 8-8 tie on Thursday at Marion, AL.

Darby Black looked sharp on the mound. Black gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Ryan Calloway had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the first inning, doubled in the second inning, and singled in the eighth inning.

The top of the first saw the ASCC Eagles take an early lead, 4-0. The ASCC Eagles caught fire after Ryan Calloway tripled. Then Hunter Ellenburg homered, bringing home Ryan Calloway. The ASCC Eagles then tacked on more runs when Reese and Flynn scored on a two-run error.

Marion Military Institute answered the ASCC Eagles' top inning with four runs of its own in the first. Marion Military Institute scored on a wild pitch, an RBI double by SW, and a two-run double by AS.

May 10 Tevin Watters's walk-off double send the ASCC Eagles home winners, 5-4

Tevin Watters's walk-off double off of Chris Kilpatrick boosted the ASCC Eagles to a 5-4 win over Snead State Community College in 10 innings at Ozark, AL Eagle Stadium on Saturday.

Tevin racked up three RBIs on three hits for the ASCC Eagles. He singled in the second and fourth innings and doubled in the tenth inning. 

The ASCC Eagles jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Ryan Calloway got things going for the ASCC Eagles with a single. Trevor Flynn singled, scoring Andrew Ferrell. The scoreboard lit up again for the ASCC Eagles when Figueroa scored on a groundout by Kaleb Harris.

Snead State Community College scored one run in the fifth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the sixth. In the fifth, Snead State Community College scored on a wild pitch, bringing home Jakob Kirkwood.

The ASCC Eagles answered Snead State Community College's top inning with three runs of their own in the tenth. The ASCC Eagles scored on a three-run double by Tevin.

May 11 The ASCC Eagles fall to Chattahoochee Valley Community College 8-7 on late run

A ninth-inning Chattahoochee Valley Community College triple spelled defeat for the ASCC Eagles, falling 8-7 in walk-off fashion at Ozark, AL Eagle stadium on Sunday.

With Chattahoochee Valley Community College trailing by two, Jared Martin came to the plate and tripled, scoring John Holland, Kendall Ford and Jeff Ronpirin.

Brandon Harigel racked up three RBIs on one hit for the ASCC Eagles. He homered in the eighth inning.

Chattahoochee Valley Community College was sparked by JD Perry and Jared, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.

The top of the first saw the ASCC Eagles take an early lead, 1-0. Ryan Calloway singled to ignite the ASCC Eagles' offense. A groundout by Andrew Ferrell then moved Ryan Calloway from first to second. Trevor Flynn singled, plating Ryan Calloway.

Ryan Calloway walked to get on base in the ninth. He then went from first to second.

The ASCC Eagles jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second. The ASCC Eagles' rally started when Hunter Ellenburg singled.

The ASCC Eagles pushed across two runs in both the fifth inning and the ninth. In the fifth, the ASCC Eagles scored on a fielder's choice, plating Andrew Ferrell.

The ASCC Eagles refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Jefferson Davis Community College, recording an 11-0 victory on Tuesday at Ozark, AL. Eagle Stadium.

Five runs in the first three innings allowed the ASCC Eagles to put the game away early.

An RBI double by Jordan Anderson and an RBI single by Ryan Calloway in the second inning supplied the early offense for the ASCC Eagles.

Trevor Flynn went a perfect 5-5 at the plate for the ASCC Eagles. He singled in the first, third, fourth, sixth, and seventh innings.

The ASCC Eagles' Mitchell Morris kept Jefferson Davis Community College off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the mound. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on seven hits while striking out five.

The ASCC Eagles tacked on another three runs in the third. A hit into a fielder's choice scored Jean Figueroa to get the ASCC Eagles on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Hunter Ellenburg's single, scoring Brandon Harigel.

The ASCC Eagles piled on five more runs in the top of the seventh. Andrew Ferrell singled, scoring Hunter, Jordan and Ryan Calloway to start the inning. That was followed up by Jean's double, bringing home Andrew.

May 15 Eagles fall to Chattahoochee Valley Community College

After no runs were scored Wednesday by either team, the Eagles were tied with the Pirates by the fourth inning 2-2. CVCC scored one run in each of the second and third innings, while ASCC scored two in the fourth.

CVCC took a major lead in the sixth scoring four runs while ASCC scored one. Another major inning for the Pirates was the eighth inning where CVCC scored another five runs and ASCC scored two. Final score was CVCC 11 and ASCC 5. Andrew Ferrell, Jean Figueroa, and Brandon Harigel made one hit each for the Eagles. Trevor Flynn made two.

Chattahoochee Valley Community College was the nation's number one ranked junior college team going into the tournament. The Eagles needed to defeat CVCC twice to claim the title and move on to the National Junior College Athletic Association World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Mitchell Morris, Jean Figueroa and Ryan Calloway were named to the ACCC All-Tournament team.

May 6 The ASCC Eagles fall 7-1 to Meridian Community College despite Trevor Flynn's effort

Trevor Flynn did his best to will the ASCC Eagles to a win with a two-hit game, but the ASCC Eagles dropped a 7-1 contest to Meridian Community College on Tuesday at Meridian, MS.

Trevor reached base three times in the game for the ASCC Eagles. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Joseph Alday pitched lights out for the ASCC Eagles. Meridian Community College managed just one hit off of Alday, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

The lead stayed with Meridian Community College after the second, when it scored five runs on four singles.

The ASCC Eagles' lone run of the ballgame came in the eighth inning on an RBI double by Trevor.

While the ASCC Eagles hung tough on Friday, Pensacola State College pulled away late for the 11-3 victory at Pensacola, FL.

Pensacola State College was sparked by Hunter Hall and Alex Stephens, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.

In the top of the first, the ASCC Eagles grabbed the early lead, 1-0. The ASCC Eagles got a spark in the form of a Andrew Ferrell single, before Trevor Flynn singled.

Pensacola State College went up for good in the fifth, scoring five runs on a two-run error and two singles.

Pensacola State College built upon its lead with five runs in the seventh. A single by Andy Chacon ignited the offense,, plating Ben Emory. That was followed up by Nicholas Junger's double, plating Hunter and Andy.

The ASCC Eagles blew out Huntington College JV 11-1 on Sunday at Montgomery, AL after pouring on nine runs in the second inning.

Kyle Reese went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the ASCC Eagles. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Huntington College JV couldn't get anything going so long as Mason MacDougall was on the hill. Mason held Huntington College JV hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

The ASCC Eagles scored one run in the third inning, and then followed it up with one more in the fourth. In the third, the ASCC Eagles scored on a groundout by Jean Figueroa, bringing home Ryan Calloway.

Tevin Waters comes through in the clutch, upends Bishop State Community College 3-2

Tevin Waters brought home the go-ahead run to give the ASCC Eagles the lead in the eighth inning, as the ASCC Eagles hung on to beat Bishop State Community College 3-2 on Tuesday.

Hunter Ellenburg singled to get on base in the eighth. He then went from first to second on a stolen base.

The ASCC Eagles staved off Bishop State Community College as Bishop State Community College was unable to match the ASCC Eagles down the stretch.

Bishop State Community College scored two runs in the eighth on an RBI single by Cody Campo and. Still, Bishop State Community College couldn't catch the ASCC Eagles.

Aaron Hart got the win for the ASCC Eagles. He allowed one run over seven innings. Aaron struck out six, walked three and gave up seven hits.

The ASCC Eagles can't capture shootout, lose 13-9 to Faulkner University JV

Sixteen hits weren't enough for the ASCC Eagles as it lost a shootout, 13-9, to Faulkner University JV on Wednesday at Montgomery, AL.

Parker Farley, Greg Howard, Jacob Hendren and JL Dockins helped lead Faulkner University JV. They combined for eight hits and eight RBIs.

The ASCC Eagles jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. A triple by Jean Figueroa, plating Kyle Reese started the inning off. More runs came home for the ASCC Eagles when Figueroa scored on an RBI single by Hunter Ellenburg.

Faulkner University JV survived the ASCC Eagles' surge and put up one run of its own in the second. Faulkner University JV scored on a hit by pitch.

Faulkner University JV matched its three-run third inning with three more in the seventh. In the third, Faulkner University JV scored on a two-run error, plating Jacob and Tyler Dailey.

Faulkner University JV answered the ASCC Eagles' top inning with four runs of its own in the fourth. Faulkner University JV scored on an RBI single by Jacob, an RBI single by JL, a bases loaded walk, and a walk by Greg.

Faulkner University JV pushed across one run in both the fifth inning and the sixth. In the fifth, Faulkner University JV scored on an RBI single by JL, scoring Jacob.

The lead stayed with Faulkner University JV after the sixth, when it scored one run on a sacrifice fly by Travis Jean.

Jefferson Davis Community College didn't have a chance on Tuesday, as the ASCC Eagles won in blowout fashion, 7-1 in seven innings at Monroeville, AL.

The ASCC Eagles scored two runs in the sixth on a solo home run by Kaleb Harris and a groundout by Andrew Ferrell.

Kaleb racked up two RBIs on two hits for the ASCC Eagles.

Aaron Hart was a workhorse on the rubber while bagging the win for the ASCC Eagles. Aaron pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out four.

The game's last lead went to the ASCC Eagles thanks to a second inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on an RBI single by Kaleb.

The ASCC Eagles scored two runs in each of the third, fifth and sixth. In the third, the ASCC Eagles scored on an RBI single by Jean Figueroa, plating Andrew.

Marion Military Institute had a tough outing on Saturday, as the ASCC Eagles dominated in a 10-4 win at Monroeville, AL.

The ASCC Eagles scored four runs in the sixth on a fielder's choice, , and a two-run triple by Jean Figueroa.

Jean racked up three RBIs on three hits for the ASCC Eagles.

Marion Military Institute couldn't get anything going as long as Dylan Kiene was on the mound. Dylan held Marion Military Institute hitless over six innings, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out five.

In the top of the first, Marion Military Institute grabbed the early lead, 3-0. Marion Military Institute's threat began with a single by BR. A single by BC then moved BR from second to third. Marion Military Institute added more runs when BL scored on an RBI single by ZP and BC scored on a walk by AR.

The ASCC Eagles stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring four runs on two singles and a two-run triple by Trevor Flynn.

The ASCC Eagles and Meridian Community College volleyed the lead five times on Tuesday, but the ASCC Eagles came out on top for a 8-7 win on Tuesday at Thomasville, AL.

The ASCC Eagles took the lead in the seventh inning and held on for the victory. The ASCC Eagles went up for good on a two-run home run by Jean Figueroa off Kellon Hibbard, plating Hunter Ellenburg.

The ASCC Eagles staved off Meridian Community College as Meridian Community College was unable to match the ASCC Eagles down the stretch.

Meridian Community College scored one run in the ninth on a sacrifice fly by Ben Gann. Despite its efforts, Meridian Community College couldn't get over the hump.

Jean racked up three RBIs on one hit for the ASCC Eagles.

The top of the first saw Meridian Community College take an early lead, 3-0. After Brooks Balisterri singled, Dalton Thomas doubled, scoring Brooks. Meridian Community College added more runs when Thomas scored on an RBI double by Scott Votaw and Votaw scored.

The ASCC Eagles put up one run in each of the first, second, fourth, and fifth. In the first, the ASCC Eagles scored on a groundout by Kyle Reese, plating Ryan Calloway.

The ASCC Eagles fell 15-9 to Enterprise State Community College on Thursday at Enterprise, AL despite racking up 11 hits and nine runs.

Tritt Fennell racked up two RBIs on one hit for the ASCC Eagles. He homered in the ninth inning.

Enterprise State Community College hammered the ASCC Eagles pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 16 hits, 13 RBIs and 12 runs scored.

The top of the first saw the ASCC Eagles take an early lead, 3-0. The ASCC Eagles got things going when Andrew Ferrell singled. Kyle Reese doubled, scoring Ryan Calloway. The ASCC Eagles pushed more runs across when Ferrell and Reese scored on a two-run single by Trevor Flynn.

Enterprise State Community College posted two runs in each of the first, fifth and eighth. In the first, Enterprise State Community College scored on a two-run double by Harrison Collier, scoring Dalton Pritchett and Hunter Alpin.

Enterprise State Community College never trailed after scoring six runs in the fourth on a three-run double by Dalton and a two-run home run by Tyler Stump.

Three runs in the top of the seventh helped the ASCC Eagles close their deficit to 12-8. A hit by pitch, a sacrifice fly by Tritt, and an RBI single by Ryan Calloway gave the ASCC Eagles life. Finally, Daniel Bedsole induced an inning-ending fly out from Andrew.

After pushing across one run in the top of the ninth, the ASCC Eagles faced just a 15-9 deficit. A solo home run by Tritt sparked the ASCC Eagles' rally. Enterprise State Community College's Daniel induced a Ryan Calloway fly out to close things out.

The ASCC Eagles lost a hotly contested 9-6 game in seven innings on Friday at Andalusia, AL after surrendering the lead in the sixth inning.

Ryan Calloway was solid at the plate for the ASCC Eagles. Ryan Calloway went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the first and third innings.

The ASCC Eagles jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Ryan Calloway singled to ignite the ASCC Eagles' offense. A stolen base then moved Ryan Calloway from first to second.

After a quick strike from the ASCC Eagles, L.B. Wallace Community College responded with one run in the first. L.B. Wallace Community College scored on a steal of home by Roquel Marsh.

L.B. Wallace Community College went up for good in the sixth, scoring three runs on a groundout by Brandon Pugh and a two-run single by Roquel.

Jefferson Davis Community College wasn't able to come back from the big hole it dug itself into against the ASCC Eagles, and Jefferson Davis Community College lost 3-1 to the ASCC Eagles after falling behind by three runs in the second inning.

Jefferson Davis Community College scored one run in the third on an RBI single by Jonathan Moore. Despite its efforts, Jefferson Davis Community College couldn't get over the hump.

Jean Figueroa got a hit in each of his three at bats. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Ryan Cribb was a workhorse on the hill while bagging the win for the ASCC Eagles. Ryan Cribb allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk while striking out two over seven innings of work.

The lead stayed with the ASCC Eagles after the first, when they scored one run on an RBI double by Jean.

The ASCC Eagles tacked on another two runs in the second. A ground out scored Hunter Ellenburg for the inning's first run. That was followed up by Andrew Ferrell's single, scoring Tevin Waters.

The ASCC Eagles took the last of six lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against Wallace State Community College, securing a 7-6 victory on Saturday at Monroeville, AL.

The ASCC Eagles pulled out the win thanks to a strong eighth inning. The ASCC Eagles scored on a two-run single by Jack Bradford off Dylan Kiene, plating Drew Eady and Seth Evans.

Hayden Roberts got the win for the ASCC Eagles. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Hayden struck out eight, walked four and gave up nine hits.

The top of the first saw Wallace State Community College take an early lead, 1-0. Jack doubled to start things off before Clay Benefield singled, plating Jack.

Jean Figueroa had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth and seventh innings.

The game was scoreless until Wallace State Community College broke the ice with three runs in the fourth. Wallace State Community College scored on an RBI single by Clay Benefield, an error, and a sacrifice fly by Jake Brown.

The ASCC Eagles pushed across two runs in both the fifth inning and the seventh. In the fifth, the ASCC Eagles scored on a fielder's choice, scoring Chris Ervin.

It didn't take long for Wallace State Community College to answer as it scored two runs of its own in the sixth. Wallace State Community College scored on an RBI single by Jake Brown and an RBI single by Austin Whitlock.

Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the ASCC Eagles and L.B. Wallace Community College, as the two teams put up 29 runs combined in a 20-9 the ASCC Eagles win.

The teams banged out 32 hits between them, as well as 14 for extra bases.

The ASCC Eagles continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The ASCC Eagles scored three runs in the final one innings to cap the blowout win. The ASCC Eagles scored nine runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Andrew Ferrell, an error, a two-run single by Trevor Flynn, a two-run triple by Brandon Harigel, an RBI double by Kaleb Harris, an RBI double by Tevin Waters, and an RBI single by Ryan Calloway.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with five lead changes.

The ASCC Eagles pulled out the win thanks to a strong fifth inning. An error scored Andrew and gave the ASCC Eagles the lead for good.

The ASCC Eagles hammered L.B. Wallace Community College pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 18 hits, 17 RBIs and 19 runs scored.

The bottom of the first saw L.B. Wallace Community College take an early lead, 2-0. More runs came home for L.B. Wallace Community College when Grill scored on an RBI single by Trey Matherson.

The ASCC Eagles didn't give up the lead after the fifth inning. Additional runs came from a two-run double by Trevor and two singles.

David Ogilvie baffled Mississippi Gulf Coast, striking out three batters. David allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over five innings.

Ryan Cribb took the loss for the ASCC Eagles. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.

The top of the first saw the ASCC Eagles take an early lead, 1-0. The ASCC Eagles' offense woke up as Kyle doubled before Jean Figueroa singled, plating Kyle.

It didn't take long for Mississippi Gulf Coast to answer as it scored one run of its own in the first. Mississippi Gulf Coast scored on an RBI double by JL.

The ASCC Eagles and Mississippi Gulf Coast volleyed the lead six times on Saturday, but the ASCC Eagles came out on top for a 10-6 win on Saturday at Monroeville, AL.

The ASCC Eagles finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fourth inning. The ASCC Eagles went up for good on a two-run double by Brandon Harigel off TO, scoring Andrew Ferrell and Ryan Calloway.

Chris Ervin had two extra-base hits for the ASCC Eagles. He singled in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and tripled in the sixth inning.

The ASCC Eagles' Ryan Calloway, Chris, Brandon and Jean Figueroa combined for eight hits and seven RBIs.

Four relief pitchers finished off the game for the ASCC Eagles. Tevin Waters faced five batters in relief, while Mason MacDougall managed to record 10 outs to aid the victory.

The top of the first saw Mississippi Gulf Coast take an early lead, 1-0. A double by TQ, plating GO started the inning off.

The ASCC Eagles quickly matched Mississippi Gulf Coast's strong inning with a one-run inning of their own in the first. The ASCC Eagles scored on an error.

Mississippi Gulf Coast got two-run rallies in the third inning and the fourth. In the third, Mississippi Gulf Coast scored on a two-run single by JS, plating RL and TQ.

After pushing across one run in the top of the sixth, Mississippi Gulf Coast faced just a 8-6 deficit. A sacrifice fly by RC gave Mississippi Gulf Coast life.

The ASCC Eagles survived Mississippi Gulf Coast's surge and put up two runs of their own in the sixth. The ASCC Eagles scored on a two-run home run by Jean.

Seven first-inning runs helped the ASCC Eagles to an 8-4 win over Enterprise State Community College at Monroeville, AL on Tuesday.

Kyle Reese racked up two RBIs on one hit for the ASCC Eagles. He doubled in the first inning.

David Ogilvie got the win for the ASCC Eagles. He allowed four runs over 6 1/3 innings. David struck out four, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Enterprise State Community College jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. A double by Dalton Pritchett, plating Colton Howell started the inning off. Enterprise State Community College then tacked on more runs when Pritchett scored on a sacrifice fly by Hunter Alpin.

Two runs in the top of the seventh helped Enterprise State Community College close its deficit to 8-4. An RBI single by Tyler Black and an RBI single by Tyler Stump gave Enterprise State Community College life. Tevin Waters ended the game by getting Harrison Collier to ground out.

He tripled in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.

David Ogilvie recorded the win for the ASCC Eagles. He allowed four runs over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered seven hits.

The top of the second saw the ASCC Eagles take an early lead, 3-0. Trevor Flynn kicked things off for the ASCC Eagles with a single. An error then moved Trevor from first to second. Kaleb Harris singled, bringing home Trevor. The ASCC Eagles pushed more runs across when Harris and Ellenburg scored on a two-run triple by Ryan Calloway.

The ASCC Eagles never surrendered the lead after the fourth inning, scoring one run on an RBI single by Jean Figueroa.

The ASCC Eagles put up two runs in each of the fifth, seventh and eighth. In the fifth, the ASCC Eagles scored on a two-run single by Kaleb, plating Trevor and Brandon Harigel.

After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fifth, Faulkner State Community College faced just a 6-4 deficit. A wild pitch sparked Faulkner State Community College's rally. Jacob Swearingen flew out to end the Faulkner State Community College threat.

Faulkner State Community College scored one run in the bottom of the eighth to cut its deficit to five. A fielder's choice fueled Faulkner State Community College's comeback. Finally, Dylan Kiene got Justin Ware to ground out to end the threat.

The ASCC Eagles uses big sixth inning to beat Wallace State Community College, 11-2

The ASCC Eagles rolled over Wallace State Community College 11-2 on Saturday at Dothan, AL after an eight-run rally in the sixth inning.

Jean Figueroa racked up four RBIs on two hits for the ASCC Eagles. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

David Ogilvie was a workhorse on the hill while bagging the win for the ASCC Eagles. David pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and no walks while striking out four.

The ASCC Eagles went up for good in the first, scoring three runs on an RBI double by Hunter Ellenburg and a solo home run by Trevor Flynn.

The ASCC Eagles fend off Enterprise State Community College's late push, hold on 5-3

Enterprise State Community College wasn't able to come back from the big hole it dug itself into against the ASCC Eagles, and Enterprise State Community College lost 5-3 to the ASCC Eagles after falling behind by three runs in the eighth inning.

Enterprise State Community College scored one run in the ninth on a solo home run by Brandon Carpenter. Unfortunately, Enterprise State Community College wasn't able to take the lead back.

Rakeem Quinn had two extra-base hits for the ASCC Eagles. He tripled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Hayden Roberts's nine strikeouts helped the ASCC Eagles to the victory. Hayden allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks over 6 1/3 innings.

The ASCC Eagles jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second. A single by Hunter Ellenburg, scoring Jean Figueroa started the inning off.

The ASCC Eagles tallied one run in each of the third, fifth, seventh, and eighth. In the third, the ASCC Eagles scored on a groundout by Andrew Ferrell, bringing home Rakeem.

The ASCC Eagles pushed across one run in both the seventh inning and the eighth. In the seventh, the ASCC Eagles scored on an RBI single by Andrew, scoring Rakeem.

Trevor Flynn went 2-3 and hit a home run, helping the ASCC Eagles to a 6-5 victory over Faulkner State Community College on Saturday at Monroeville, AL.

He homered in the second inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Tevin Waters got the win for the ASCC Eagles. He pitched 2 2/3 shutout innings. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered two hits.

The bottom of the second saw the ASCC Eagles take an early lead, 2-0. A two-run blast by Trevor , scoring Jean Figueroa started the inning off.

The ASCC Eagles scored one run in the third inning, and then followed it up with one more in the eighth. In the third, the ASCC Eagles scored on a sacrifice fly by Jean, bringing home Ryan Calloway.

Wallace State Community College falls 10-0 at the hands of the ASCC Eagles

Wallace State Community College didn't put up much of a fight on Saturday, as the ASCC Eagles cruised to a blowout 10-0 win in five innings at Monroeville, AL.

The ASCC Eagles scored five runs in the fourth on, a wild pitch, a sacrifice fly by Brandon Harigel, and an RBI single by Kyle Reese.

Ryan Calloway paced the ASCC Eagles at the plate. Ryan Calloway went 2-3 and scored three runs.

The ASCC Eagles' David Ogilvie kept Wallace State Community College off the scoreboard for all five innings he was on the bump. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out four.

The ASCC Eagles didn't relinquish the lead after scoring four runs in the first inning when they scored on three singles.

Wallace State Community College falls 9-2 at the hands of the ASCC Eagles

The ASCC Eagles pounded Wallace State Community College on Friday 9-2 at Monroeville, AL.

The ASCC Eagles scored four runs in the eighth on a wild pitch, an RBI single by Kaleb Harris, an error, and a wild pitch.

It was a good day at the plate for the ASCC Eagles' Trevor Flynn. Trevor went 3-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the second, fourth, and eighth innings.

The ASCC Eagles relied on Aaron Hart to eat up innings en route to the win. Aaron allowed one earned run, nine hits and one walk while striking out five over nine innings of work.

The ASCC Eagles never surrendered the lead after the fourth inning, scoring one run on a fielder's choice.

The ASCC Eagles tacked on another three runs in the fifth. An error scored Tevin Waters for the inning's first run. That was followed up by Jean Figueroa's single, scoring Ryan Calloway and Andrew Ferrell.

“I am very proud of each of these young men for all that they accomplished while here at Alabama Southern both on the field and in the classroom. It is our goal that each player that comes through our program earns their associate degree and also earns an opportunity to play at the four year level. Each of these guys worked extremely hard while in our program and were able to reap the benefits by getting scholarships to continue their baseball careers at the next level,” said Coach Head. “Not only will they be great ambassadors for Alabama Southern on the field at their new schools, they also will represent Alabama Southern in a positive manner off of the field. They are all fine young men with outstanding character and we wish them all the best as they move forward in their careers.”

Since being named head coach of the Eagles in 2009, Coach Head has sent 48 players to four year universities with scholarships; 24 have been signed to Division 1 level schools.

Senior David Bishop, a 2013 Faulkner University Baseball Team member, played on both the 2009 and 2010 ASCC Baseball Teams. Faulkner University recently won the 2013 NAIA World Series Championship.

Hardin Signs Division One Scholarship

Alabama Southern Community College baseball player, Tremayne Hardin, has signed a division one scholarship with Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana. Hardin, a middle infielder from Montgomery, is the son of Archie and Yvonne Hardin 

"I am really proud of Tremayne. He has earned this opportunity by all of the hard work and dedication that he has put into our baseball program both on and off the field,” said Daniel Head, Alabama Southern Head Baseball Coach and Athletic Director. “He will be graduating from ASCC and moving on to Grambling and they will be getting a fine young man and someone that should be a great ambassador for Alabama Southern Community College." 

Hardin is the Eagle's starting shortstop and is hitting .258 this season. He leads the state and region in stolen bases with 29.

ASCC Baseball Team Members Honored and Lee Named NJCCA All-American

ASCC's Lee named NJCCA All-AmericanFor the seventh year in a row, a member of Alabama Southern’s baseball team has been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association’s (NJCAA) All-American team.

Turner Lee, a left-handed sophomore pitcher, was named to the NJCAA All-American third team, which is selected by a panel assembled by the association. A graduate of Mary G. Montgomery High School in Mobile, AL, Lee was 9-1 last season with a 3.39ERA. He struck out 68 batters in 77 innings of work for the season, and also picked up a save. In addition to being named to the All-American team, Lee was also named to the first-team All-State/All-Region and to the first-team All-Conference squad.

“I’m very proud of Turner,” said ASCC baseball coach Daniel Head. “He came to us from Troy after elbow surgery and worked himself back into shape. I’ve never seen a harder working player. He was a dominant force out there on the mound for us.”

Fairhope's Hunter Ellenburg Signs Baseball Scholarship at ASCC

Fairhope's Ellenburg Signs with ASCCFairhope middle infielder Hunter Ellenburg signed a letter of intent Wednesday to play baseball for Alabama Southern Community College next year. The right hander helped lead the Pirates to their 6A state runner up finish last May with his arm, glove and bat.

“Hunter is such an exciting player, no matter where he is playing that day,” said Fairhope head coach Stu Fuller. “He should do well at the next level, adapt quickly and contribute early.”

With a career fielding percentage of .957, a batting average of .365 with 41 RBIs and 89 hits (5 Homeruns), Ellenberg has also pitched at the varsity level since his freshman season posting seven wins, no losses and has two saves with a career ERA of 2.73.

WSN's Settle Signs with ASCC

W.S. Neal senior baseball player Brian Settle will be flying from one Eagle nest in East Brewton to another nest in Monroeville next year as he signed a baseball scholarship Tuesday morning to play with the Alabama Southern Community College Eagle baseball team.

As a junior last season for the Eagles of East Brewton, Settle led W.S. Neal to a 23-12 record and advanced to the second round of the class 4A state playoffs.

Settle went 7-4 and was chosen as an honorable mention member of the Alabama Sportswriters Association all-state baseball team. Settle pitched in 61 innings and had a .91 earned run average. Settle struck out 82 batters and walked 29. He pitched three shut outs and had seven complete games.

Thomason Signs with ASCC

Crestview High School senior and baseball standout, Seth Thomason, signed a baseball scholarship with Alabama Southern Community College.

Thomason cited the coaching staff, outstanding program, and top notch facilities as a few of the reasons why he has chosen to attend ASCC in the fall. Thomason's parents said they let their son make his decision about where to attend, but they were excited about his decision and the opportunities that ASCC has to offer.
